Reinventing PR-3
Learning Objectives
Purpose:
In February 2007, the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (the Committee) revised the new pricing methodology for service projects known as Pricing Memorandum No. 3 (PR-3). This pricing system reflects the Committee's philosophy to further mirror commercial market practices and provides more flexibility to Contracting Officers and NPAs. This workshop was designed and developed by NISH team members in partnership with Federal Government customers and NPA business partners.
Audience:
This workshop is valuable for NPAs performing
an AbilityOne service contract, especially the staff
directly involved in the development and negotiation of
AbilityOne service price proposals.
Format:
The Reinventing PR-3 workshop consists of classroom
instruction plus group and individual hands-on learning
exercises. It can be customized for a two- or three-day
format to meet participant needs.
Instructors:
Sabrina Harmon is the NISH PR-3 program manager. She has worked with the AbilityOne Program at the national and regional levels. Sabrina holds a master's degree in Organizational Management and a bachelor's degree in Economics. She has also completed the George Washington University Certificate Programs for Leadership Coaching and the Government Contracting Certificate Program.
