Managing Your AbilityOne Contract

Learning Objectives:
 Learn the benefits of constructing a Statement of Work (SOW)
 Be able to state the Chain of Command: corporate and Government
 Demonstrate how to establish Continuous Measurable Improvement
 Corporate Operations Management, applying risk factors and using historical information to understand strengths/weaknesses using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
 Tracking cost to identify trends/problems
 Applying good customer relations to contract management
Purpose:
The purpose of this course is to provide training in project and operations management. NPA staff will learn to manage their businesses to the degree required for success and growth. Typically, people are promoted to supervisors because they have been great workers. Without some solid training on the fundamentals of management, the learning curve to being a good supervisor is substantial.
Audience:
This course is ideal for NPA front-line supervisors and AbilityOne contract managers.

Instructor:
Sabrina Harmon is the NISH PR-3 program manager. She has worked with the AbilityOne Program at the national and regional levels. Sabrina holds a master's degree in Organizational Management and a bachelor's degree in Economics. She has also completed the George Washington University Certificate Programs for Leadership Coaching and the Government Contracting Certificate Program.
