NISH Training Incentive Voucher Program
NISH offers the training incentive (voucher) program to
help NPAs offset travel costs to attend NISH training.
All NISH and NIB AbilityOne producing NPAs are
eligible to receive vouchers. Qualifying NPAs will receive
between five and 15 vouchers. To be eligible to receive
a training voucher (goldenrod form) participants must
attend the entire training program from start to finish,
no exceptions.
Eligible Training Events
Training vouchers are intended to reimburse travel
costs incurred by attending any of the NISH training
events listed:
Vouchers will not be redeemed for events not sponsored by NISH.
Redeeming Vouchers
Requests for voucher reimbursement should be sent
with all supporting documents to:

All requests for voucher reimbursement must include
the following three documents:
1. A letter from the CEO/Executive Director on company
letterhead requesting reimbursement—the letter
must include the following statement:
"By submitting this request for voucher
reimbursement, I certify that my NPA incurred costs
totaling $____ to participate in the NISH training
course(s) for which goldenrod forms are attached. I
further request reimbursement of ______ number
of vouchers."
2. Valid training vouchers— a NPA may submit as many
vouchers as needed to cover the costs of attending
a NISH training course and/or event as long as the
training was completed within the period for which
the voucher was valid. 2008 vouchers are valid from
1/1/08 through 2/1/09.
- Vouchers which have expired prior to attending a
training/event will not be honored.
- Vouchers issued for the next calendar year cannot
be used for training/events attended during the
previous year, i.e., 2008 vouchers cannot be used
for training/events conducted in 2007, 2006, etc...
- Voucher is valid until June 30, 2009 for NISH events
from 1/1/08 to 2/28/09.
3. The Verification of Course Completion form (also
known as the goldenrod form) will be issued by the
instructor, regional director or director of training at
the conclusion of the event. The goldenrod form is
only issued to AbilityOne producing NPAs. This form
is not the Certificate of Course Completion distributed
to all participants after each class and may not be
substituted for the goldenrod form. To be eligible to
receive a goldenrod form, participants must attend
the entire training program from start to finish, no
exceptions.
Payment will be made by check to the producing NPA
within 45 days of receiving all necessary items.
Voucher Distribution
By mid-February each year, CEOs and executive
directors of eligible NPAs with AbilityOne contracts
receive vouchers based on the results of the prior
year's AbilityOne 404 submission by NISH AbilityOne
producing NPAs, or AbilityOne 403 submission by NIB
associated NPAs.
If the voucher allotment is not received by the end of
February or inadvertently destroyed or lost, the CEO/
executive director should notify the NISH Training
Department in writing. The written request should
contain the reason for re-issuance: if the voucher was
not received, lost or inadvertently destroyed, etc. It
must also include the NPA's complete address and the
name of the person to whom the vouchers should be
sent. Vouchers will be reissued when all necessary
information is received. |
