Take advantage of the new NISH Double Your Voucher Face Value Program!
From July through September, all line-of-business courses qualify for the NISH Double Your Voucher Face Value Program. When you submit a voucher for reimbursement for attending one of the referred courses below, the Voucher Value will double from $200 to $400. The following courses will be conducted during the outlined timeframe and qualify for this initiative:
- Clothing & Textile: Strategic Quality Management (July 19-20: Chicago, IL)
- Clothing & Textile: Lean Manufacturing (July 21-22: Chicago, IL)
- Operating and Managing a Successful Custodial Business: Learning the Art and Science of Cleaning (July 28-29: San Francisco, CA)
- Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) Certification Training and Examination (August 3-5: Chicago, IL)
- Carpet Cleaning Maintenance Technician (CCMT) Three-day Hands-on IICRC Certification Course (August 17-19: Minneapolis, MN)
- Systems Management for the Custodial Contractor (August 17-19: Vienna, VA)
- Creating a Quality Work Environment for People with Disabilities (September 22-23: Vienna, VA)
- Contact Center Services Business Plan Preparation (September 28-29: Las Vegas, NV)
- Contact Center Services Business Development (September 29-30: Las Vegas, NV)
REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS- When a NPA submits a request for voucher reimbursement for attending one of the referred courses above, NISH will match the number of vouchers submitted.
Example: NPA incurs $1250 in travel expenses submits 2 vouchers NISH will match the 2 vouchers and NPA will be reimbursed $800. If NPA submits 3 vouchers NISH will match the 3 vouchers reimbursement to NPA $1200. If NPA submits 4 vouchers worth $800 NISH will only match 3 of the 4 vouchers worth $600, and will return the 4th voucher to NPA to be used for a future training opportunity, reimbursement to NPA $1200.

Certificates of Completion, Vouchers and CEUs:
To receive NISH Training Vouchers (goldenrods), CEUs, and/or Certificates of Completion for participation in a NISH Academy instructor-led classroom course; full attendance at every session/day is required. No exceptions.

Eligibility to Participate:
NISH training is available to AbilityOne associated non-profit agencies. If your NPA/CRP status is not up to date, please contact your regional office immediately. NISH will not accept training registrations from NPAs/CRPs who have not re-affiliated with NISH.
Other members of the AbilityOne family are also encouraged to attend classroom courses. These groups include federal customers, state vocational rehabilitation agencies, other referral sources, state-use programs and state rehabilitation organizations, members of NPA boards of directors.

NISH has received requests for voucher reimbursement without the appropriate documentation, which has delayed payment.
In addition, Paragraph 2c in the voucher policy sets forth a time limitation for submitting vouchers for payment.
