Biennial CRP Customer Satisfaction Survey

NISH is currently conducting its Biennial CRP Customer Satisfaction Survey.  One of our strategic goals is to meet or exceed your expectations.  This survey is part of a comprehensive Voice of the Customer Program we have developed to systematically collect your feedback and to act on that information in a timely manner.  We look forward to your participation in this survey as we continue to work collaboratively with you to accomplish our mission of creating employment opportunities for people with significant disabilities.  If you have questions about the survey or need assistance, please contact Leejay Acham, Senior Quality Manager, at lacham@nish.org or 703-584-3964.

NISH Launches NDEAM Support Kit for AbilityOne Network

Join NISH and the AbilityOne Program as we celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). To help build awareness and educate the American public about issues related to disability and employment, NISH has produced marketing and communications tools to help the AbilityOne Network promote NDEAM, the AbilityOne Program and its AbilityOne Employees. These tools are available online at www.nish.org/ndeam.

We all know that employment is the key to economic security and personal independence of all Americans, especially those individuals with disabilities.  However, people who are blind or have other significant disabilities remain one of America’s greatest untapped labor resources, with nearly 70 percent of this population not employed. Building awareness and generating more support is vital to accomplishing this goal and NDEAM 2010 is a perfect platform to speak out for the Program and all of its benefits.

This October, let’s take time to recognize and celebrate these employees enjoying fuller participation in their communities and finding employment. We need your support and local marketing contributions to help make NDEAM 2010 a huge success.
